Man Used Deceased's Bank Account In Hatboro Forgery: PD

Hatboro Police charged a Philadelphia man Tuesday in a crime in which he obtained bank information of a deceased person.

HATBORO, PA —Hatboro Police have charged a Philadelphia man for forgery in a crime where he used a recently deceased person's bank account.

The Hatboro Borough Police Department said Bryant Robinson, 43, of Philadelphia, turned himself in Tuesday after being sought on an arrest warrant.

Hatboro Police said on Sept. 17, they received a fraud complaint where a recently deceased person's bank account was being used.

During an investigation, police said that a cleaning service was contracted to clean the person's home when one worker obtained the individual's banking information and began to use it.

Robinson is charged with forgery, access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking, and unsworn falsification to authorities.
