Mass Tree Planting Begins Across Hatboro For Tricentennial Celebration

To continue the ongoing 300th birthday celebration of Hatboro, the Tricentennial Committee has encouraged borough residents plant 300 trees.

Students at Pennypack Elementary in Hatboro began planting about 20 of the trees around the borough on Wednesday.

Five different kinds of trees were available for purchase, and residents were encouraged to purchase one or more of any type.
