Memorial Service Planned for Longtime Hatboro Fire Chief

Aiman, a lifelong resident of Hatboro who served as chief of Enterprise Fire Company for 16 years, passed away Aug. 16 at the age of 93.

A memorial service in honor of Garbutt W. “Mike” Aiman will be held Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Enterprise Fire Company, Byberry Ave., Hatboro.

Aiman, a lifelong resident of Hatboro who served as chief of Enterprise Fire Company for 16 years, passed away Aug. 16 at the age of 93.

Aiman was a Hatboro first responder and firefighter for 75 years. He served the US Naval Air Cadet in WWII and went on to become a Realtor, developer and builder in Montgomery County.

Aiman is survived by his children, Cindy Cooper of Hatboro, Kim Terwilliger of East Stroudsburg and Guy Aiman of Philadelphia, as well as five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris, and daughter, Joy.

The public is invited to the celebration of Aiman’s life. Interment will be held privately.
