Military Veterans Art Show at Scatter Joy Center for the Arts - June 26th
Military Veterans Art Exhibit and Opening Reception Friday evening, June 26th
Starting on June 26 and running through the first three weeks of July will be an exhibit designed to feature to the artwork of our region’s military veterans. Those of us connected to the Scatter Joy Center for the Arts could not be prouder or more thankful for the contributions and sacrifices our veterans have made for our county.
We believe there are many veterans that turn to the arts for careers and opportunities for self- expression. Providing a showcase for their work will be a point of pride for our entire community.
Above and beyond providing this opportunity for our veterans, we will also make sure a portion of the art center’s proceeds from the sale of this exhibit’s art will go to Meghan’s Foundation, a regional non-profit organization whose primary objective is to create awareness and develop programs to support our war veterans experiencing symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
