"Miss Spider's Tea Party" Author Coming To Horsham

The author of the acclaimed “Miss Spider’s Tea Party” will be visiting Hatboro-Horsham elementary schools and library on April 14 and 15.

David Kirk’s appearance is the kickoff program for the Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation week of events for National Library Week.

The author will visit five elementary schools and two libraries in the district.

He will also be the special guest at the Horsham Library’s Story Hour on April 14 at 4 p.m. He will sing his latest song, “Oh So Brave Dragon” at the event.

“Our students have been enjoying David Kirk’s books since they were toddlers,” said Nancy DeLucia, Executive Director, Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation, in a press release for the event. “We are so excited to have the opportunity to introduce our elementary students to the author and illustrator behind Miss Spider. Mr. Kirk is an incredibly accomplished author and illustrator as his books are read by children worldwide.”
