Missing Montco Uber Driver Found Dead In Philadelphia: Cops

A woman missing from Montgomery County was found dead in the Delaware River in Philadelphia last week, police said.

ABINGTON, PA -- An Abington woman employed as an Uber driver was found dead last week in Philadelphia, authorities confirmed.

Krysten Laib, 45, had been missing since April 11. Police found her body in the Delaware River and her cause of death has been determined as suicide.

Police found her car near the Ben Franklin Bridge on April 17. At that time, they released a statement saying "there is strong evidence to suggest that her disappearance was voluntary and that she was intent on harming herself."

Laib was reported missing when she did not contact family members or answer her cell phone for three days. She last spoke with her mother early the morning of April 11 after she dropped off a passenger on the 2700 block of Axe Factory Road in Philadelphia, police said.
