HATBORO, PA —The Montgomery County community is rallying around a borough police officer who lost everything in a house fire over the weekend.
The Hatboro Borough Police Department provided new details into the fire that destroyed the home of Sgt. Alex Bruckner, in which his family was able to escape unharmed on Saturday.
Police said that Bruckner, his wife, three young children, mother-in-law, and the family pet were able to get out of the home, which burned down in six minutes. Police did not reveal the location of the home.
