Montco Grandma OD'd On Heroin While Caring For Child: Report
The Montgomery County grandmother was convicted after overdosing on heroin while caring for her 10-month-old grandson.

UPPER MORELAND, PA — A Montgomery County grandmother was convicted of endangerment after overdosing on heroin while caring for her 10-month-old grandson, according to reports and court documents.
Donna Pilling, 55, of Upper Moreland, was convicted of endangering the welfare of the child in a July 2017 incident.
The Times Herald reports that the incident occurred on July 1, 2017 at the family home on Oakwood Drive. The baby's parents left the child in Pilling's care when they went out to the store, and when they returned, Pilling was unresponsive on the living room floor.

Pilling was reportedly alone with the child for up to 40 minutes when she overdosed.
She faces up to three and a half to seven years in prison.
