WILLOW GROVE, PA — A Montgomery County mother who unexpectedly went into labor prematurely while in Texas is being flown home after complications with her healthcare provider prevented the expensive flight.

6ABC reports that Willow Grove's Sarah Pratta was on a business trip in Austin, Texas last month when she suddenly went into labor. Her newborn son - named Austin for the fateful city of his birth - came into the world roughly two months before he was expected.

Because Austin was born prematurely, he was not able to safely fly home on a commercial plane. He required a special air ambulance for transport, which Pratta's healthcare provider, Aetna, initially denied.

In the meantime, mother and son were stuck for weeks in an Austin hospital, miles away from home, Fox29 reports, as Aetna argued that Pratta's employer should pay for the air ambulance.

However, the story has a happy ending now: Aetna reportedly agreed to cover the trip on Tuesday. Pratta and Austin were reunited with father Steve and their four-year-old son Lucas on Thursday, reports state.
