Montco Swim Club Vandalized, Causing $30K In Damages: Reports
Vandals tore through a popular swim club in Montgomery County, reportedly causing more than $30,000 in damages.

UPPER MORELAND, PA -- A popular swim club in Montgomery County was vandalized last week, causing around $30,000 in damage, according to reports.
The Upper Moreland Swim Club, located at 3505 Moore Road in Hatboro, was hit by vandals sometime last Wednesday night overnight into Thursday, according to 6ABC.
Vandals destroyed the first aid room, medical supplies, the intercom system, The Gator Grill, and more, according to CBS.

Owners said they weren't sure if insurance would cover the extent of the damages.
Officials think that the vandals came with the intent of robbing the club, but when they could only recover $50, they decided to wreak havoc.

The club hopes to open in time for Memorial Day, with the help of volunteers.
An investigation is underway.
