HATBORO, PA —The crowds came. And so did some rain. Then a rainbow appeared overhead.

The Hatboro Chamber of Commerce held its 30th Annual Moonlight Memories Classic Car Show on Saturday evening as crowds filled York Road to view vintage vehicles and support local businesses that set up tents offering food and information.

While a storm rolled through, it didn't dampen the spirits of those who attended the annual show.

The car show is considered the borough's biggest event every year, drawing attendees from throughout Montgomery and Bucks counties.

From the very first show in 1993, the car show typically attracts 400-500 specialty autos, muscle cars, and trucks, as well as 35,000 to 50,000 spectators and dozens of vendors, organizers said.

York Road was quiet earlier in the day as vendors set up tents and police directed motorists around detours as a row of classic cars lined up to parade down York Road despite a day of extreme heat.
