Mr. Wish Closes After Less Than A Year In Hatboro

HATBORO, PA —Mr. Wish, which opened its location on South York Road last April, has shut its doors.

Borough officials and residents on a Hatboro Facebook community page revealed that the business recently closed, citing that the nature fruit tea store struggled to find customers.

A phone call to the business on Wednesday was answered by a recorded message saying the phone message box was full and calls could not be answered.

Hatboro officials were excited about Mr. Wish's arrival with many showing up for its grand opening last April 22. It had helped fill a vacant space at an important borough intersection.

"Mr. Wish will become my favorite store," Councilwoman Nicole Reichner said at that time about the popular bubble tea business at 133 S. York Rd.

The Hatboro location was one of 20 in Pennsylvania.

Over the past few years, Mr. Wish opened a location at 1116 Horsham Rd. in Horsham Township. That location remains open.

Other nearby Mr. Wish locations are in Warminster, Southampton, and Abington.

Mr. Wish offers fresh, healthy tea beverages. The operation started in Taiwan.

It offers natural ingredients in its fruit-infused and milk-based teas, smoothies, macchiato coffee, and other selections. Featured teas include diced fruit tea with apple, pineapple, kiwi, orange, passionfruit, and kumquat.
