National Night Out Set For Tuesday In Horsham

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — National Night Out is coming to the township on Tuesday night with an event planned at the Horsham Township Municipal Complex.

National Night Out is an annual, nationwide campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie, and brings residents and police together for a night of fun and socialization.

National Night Out events are free, family-friendly, and open to the public.

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances, according to the organization's website.

Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP

Residents can meet the Horsham Township Police Department, the Horsham Fire Department, and check out EMS, police, and emergency vehicles.

The event will feature a Dunk Tank, Inflatables, DJ, free hamburgers and hot dogs, a car show, water ice, Mission BBQ, the Horsham Robotics Club, along with fire prevention information.

The event takes place at the Horsham Township Municipal Complex on Horsham Road from 6-9 p.m. Parking will be at Deep Meadow Park.
