New Book Available About the Restoration of the Lukens Clock
The Millbrook Society is pleased to announce limited copies of SAVING AND RESTORING THE LUKENS CLOCK AT THE LOLLER ACADEMY are now available
This new work tells the story of the Lukens Clock, its builder, the academy, and the men who made them come to life. It also explains the step by step process of the clock's restoration. The book is done in full color with detailed photos of the entire process and is available for a donation of $20.00. All proceeds will be placed in the fund for the perpetual care and maintenance of the Lukens Clock.
To purchase a copy, please stop by the Amy B. Yerkes Museum on the 2nd floor of the Hatboro Baptist Church on any Wednesday evening between 7:30 and 9:30. If you would like to have a copy mailed, please send a check payable to the Millbrook Society in the amount of $25.00 with your mailing address to the Millbrook Clock Preservation Fund, P.O. Box 506, Hatboro, PA 19040.
