New Hatboro-Horsham Court Showcased
Horsham Township Council got a tour recently of the new court for Hatboro and Horsham overseen by District Justice Todd Stephens.

HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —District Justice Todd Stephens often appears at Horsham Township Council meetings to swear in new police officers and honor other officials.
But this week, Horsham Township Council members returned the favor and visited the judge on his home turf.
Stephens, the former state representative for Horsham Township, has served as a judge for over a year after the Hatboro and Horsham courts were consolidated over one judge.

The consolidation was part of a Montgomery County magisterial district realignment that eliminated the Hatboro court.
Hatboro's former District Court building just below Loller Academy sold for $300,000 to Victorian Village recently.

Horsham District Court 38-1-22 is located at 955 Horsham Rd., Suite 100, in the Babylon Business Park in Horsham. The court can be reached at 215-675-2040.
And it was there that Stephens hosted Horsham council members Samantha Slaff, Eric Glesmer, Ellen Zschunke, and Council President William Whiteside.
Stephens gave them a tour of the new District Court, explained how the court functions, and discussed its jurisdiction.
The consolidation stated that Montgomery County has 30 Magisterial Districts while others such as Bucks, Delaware, Chester, and Lancaster counties average 21 districts.
The plan called for boundary realignment of 12 districts while 17 others remained the same with the Hatboro court being eliminated.
