New Horsham Village Plaza, Including Wawa And CVS, To Begin Development
It's official: the new Horsham Village Plaza will feature a Wawa with 6 gas pumps, a CVS, and room for three more retailers or restaurants.

HORSHAM, PA — The developer behind the new Horsham Village Plaza has acquired the final three parcels of property needed to begin construction, they announced Thursday.
The Verrichia Company said that the plaza would feature a Wawa with six fuel pumps, a CVS pharmacy with a drive-thru window, and room for three more retailers or restaurants yet to be announced.
The development, located at the intersection of Route 611 and Blair Mill Road, has been under discussion for years. It's adjacent to the Pennsylvania Business Campus.

“Horsham Village Plaza provides retailers with a unique opportunity to have a presence in one of the most desirable commercial corridors in Montgomery County,” Thomas Verrichia, president and CEO of The Verrichia Company, said in a statement. “The site’s premier location, demographics and strong employment base make it ideal for regional and national retailers and restaurants requiring a presence in one of the region’s strongest suburban markets.”
The flagship stores of the development, Wawa and CVS, are expected to open in fall 2018, the company said. The Wawa will be 5,585 square feet and the CVS will be 12,900 square feet.

The company said that they received approval from PennDOT to improve the intersection, including upgrading the traffic signal systems at New Road in an effort to reduce congestion. There will also be a new traffic signal at Blair Mill and Gibraltar roads, which will connect to the Blair Mill and Route 611 signal.
The site was formerly the home of the Williamson Banquet and Event Center, a private company, and two residential properties.
