New Pickleball Club Has Opening Date In Horsham: Find Out When
The new pickleball club will be opening behind the Dunkin Donuts in Horsham Township.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Buxmont Pickleball Club now has an opening date.
The club behind the Dunkin Donuts on Route 611 is nearly ready to open its doors and planning an August opening, it said in a recent Facebook post.
"Thanks for your patience while we complete construction and look forward to opening our doors in August," the club said.

With pickleball still a popular sport that has popped up in communities throughout the Philadelphia Region, Horsham Township is capitalizing on that craze.
Last August, the Horsham Township Council approved a proposal for five indoor pickleball courts at 1250 Easton Road.

That paved the way for the Buxmont Pickleball Club, and big plans are underway.
"You may have seen the construction of our brand-new facility," the club said. "We are now 'under roof' and making progress every day. As the crews work their magic, our staff is planning programs and special features that will be sure to make Buxmont Pickleball Club one of the most active sports facilities in Bucks and Montgomery County."
The 10,000-square-foot building will feature 30’ ceilings —higher than most pickleball facilities —with a large viewing mezzanine. Modern courts with divider barriers, a Pro Shop, modern changing rooms, equipment demonstrations, acoustic soundproofing, and 24/7 member access to the facility.
