EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —A new townhome project is under construction in Horsham Township. Meanwhile, there's been no development on development of the Gamburg's Furniture store in Hatboro.

Gamburg's Furniture Future Development Still Stalled

HATBORO, PA —A developer had once shown interest in the vacant Gamburg's furniture store, it was revealed at Monday night's Hatboro Borough Council meeting. The business landmark on York Road closed permanently a year ago after 94 years as a retail institution. (Read More)

New Restaurant Opening In Fort Washington

A new restaurant is expected to open Friday in Upper Dublin Township. The Fort Kitchen & Bar will fill the space of the former Friendly's at 325 Pennsylvania Ave. in Fort Washington. Extensive upgrades have been made. The restaurant will also feature an outdoor dining area.

Santa Snubbing Neshaminy Mall This Holiday Season

Santa Claus is still coming to town. He just won't be coming to the Neshaminy Mall. The mall's new owners said Saint Nick won't be in his usual spot outside the Barnes & Noble. (Read More)

Small Business Saturday Upcoming In Hatboro

The Hatboro Chamber of Commerce is promoting the upcoming Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30. American Express is celebrating 15 years of Small Business Saturday events. The chamber said residents should watch for special promotions available by borough businesses starting on Monday. Get your shopping shoes on Nov. 30, the chamber said.
