New State-Of-The-Art Tech Facility Opens In Hatboro

HATBORO, PA —A new state-of-the-art facility has opened in the borough.

U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick Wednesday welcomed KMM Group Ltd., which held its grand opening and unveiling of the 100,000-square-foot facility.

KMM Group is a global leader in manufacturing for MedTech, Aerospace, Space Exploration, and other high-tech applications.

"This expansion signifies their commitment to being pioneers of innovation, and I wish them continued success," Fitzpatrick said in congratulating KMM CEO John Shegda.

KMM Group, Ltd. is a collaborative fusion of three world-class companies: the KVI Group, M&S Centerless Grinding, Inc., and Meron Medical.

The company manufactures mission-critical components for the industries mentioned above.

"With a combined 100-year history of experience, we solve thorny manufacturing challenges to make the impossible possible," the company said on its website.

The new facility includes more than 150 milling, turning, grinding, and EDM machines.

There is also an ISO Class 8 Clean Room, and more than 150 craftspeople, engineers, and manufacturing professionals.
