Residents are advised to be on alert.

Numerous thefts from parked vehicles have been reportedly recently in Hatboro, according to police.
The thefts have largely occurred in residential neighborhood during overnight hours, police said.
Most vehicles that were broken into had been left unlocked.

The thieves stole mostly loose change and whatever other personal items had been left unattended in the car.
Police advise residents to be on alert and to take common-sense precautions, like not storing valuables in your car and locking your car doors at all times.

“The criminals that commit these acts are often looking to move quickly when engaging in this activity,” police said in a press release. “Locking your vehicle greatly deters this type of crime and protects your property.”
All residents are urged to call 911 immediately if they witness suspicious activity.
