PECO To Begin Natural Gas Equipment Upgrades In Hatboro
Hatboro officials said the work on West Moreland Avenue begins Monday and will last until July.

HATBORO, PA —PECO will upgrade its natural gas equipment on West Moreland Avenue starting Monday.
The work is expected to be done between Flamingo and Linden Avenue, and on Broad Street between Moreland Avenue and Montgomery Avenue, borough officials said.
Borough officials said PECO did not notify them about the work until April 11.

The work will be ongoing and should be completed by July.
Most work will be outdoors on residential streets, sidewalks. To safely connect properties to the new natural gas main, PECO or the PECO contractor Riggs Distler will need to turn off natural gas service and enter properties to relight appliances after the connection.

PECO will coordinate this with customers when the time arises.
PECO is asking customers to mark any customer-owned facilities present on the property (i.e. water services, sewers, septic tanks, underground cable, drainage pipes, etc.)
