PECO Utility Improvements Will Last 2 Months In Horsham Township

PennDOT said the work on Horsham Road, which begins Wednesday, is expected to last until the end of April.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —PECO Energy will perform aerial utility construction on several state highways in Horsham and neighboring Montgomery townships this week, PennDOT has announced.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said the work begins Wednesday, Feb. 8.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
