Philly Man Wanted For Illegal Gun Possession In Hatboro

Hatboro Police responded to the Continental Armory at 9 S. York Rd. at 6:38 p.m. March 19 for the report of a man at the business with an active arrest warrant.

Officers arrested Eric Brown of Philadelphia on an outstanding warrant.

Through the officer's investigation, it was revealed that Brown attempted to purchase a firearm while he was at the business, police said.

Brown has a previous conviction for a violent criminal offense which prohibits him from purchasing and possessing firearms, police said.

An arrest warrant was issued for Brown on April 30 by District Court 38-1-22.

He is being charged with two counts for the sale or transfer of firearms and two counts for the unsworn falsification to authorities.
