Pistol Whipping, Drunken Man At Wawa Top Hatboro Crimes
The Hatboro Borough Police Department has released reports of recent criminal incidents after joining CrimeWatch this week.
HATBORO, PA —In joining CrimeWatch this week, the Hatboro Borough Police Department is now posting some recent crimes, including a fight between "a large group of individuals" and a drunken man at the new Wawa.
On Tuesday, police officers responded to the Wawa on South York Road for the report of a 40-year-old man acting erratic and rolling around in the grass.
The officers arrived and found the man under the influence of a controlled substance and in a delirious and animated state.

Police said the man was "a clear and present danger to himself or others" and was taken into custody and charged with public drunkenness.
Meanwhile, around 1:18 p.m. on March 3, the Hatboro Police Department responded to the 400 block of Jacksonville Road for the report of a large group of individuals fighting.

Officers arrived to find many individuals who were generally uncooperative and did not disclose the true events that unfolded.
There was one man who suffered facial trauma and sought medical attention for his injuries.
Although the initial crowd was uncooperative, police officers were able to locate a video of the incident.
The video showed multiple people engaged in a physical altercation when an uninvolved man showed a firearm and pointed it in a bystander's face.
The man then began to pistol whip another man who was lying on his back and being assaulted by three other individuals.
After the victim was pistol-whipped, a woman then began to strike him in the head multiple times.
Through numerous hours of surveillance, search warrants, social media examinations, and the assistance of the Montgomery County Detective Bureau, Comese Robinson and Sidea Copeland, both of Pottstown, were arrested for the crimes.
