Police Pursuit That Started In Bucks Ends In Horsham Twp.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —A police pursuit which started in Warminster Saturday ended in the township as Horsham Township Police took a suspect into custody.

Horsham Community Policing Services said that they received inquiries about a heavy police presence in the vicinity of County Line Road and Meetinghouse Road.

Horsham ChATs said the pursuit began in Warminster following a carjacking and that the Horsham Township Police Department joined in and the vehicle pursuit turned into a foot pursuit.

The suspect was apprehended by police officers and is currently in custody.

Horsham ChATs said there was no risk to the public.

Officials did not provide any information about the incident, the suspect, or where the chase originated.

Horsham Township commented about the chase as well on Saturday afternoon.

"We just want to take a moment to sincerely thank the Horsham Police Patrol Unit and Highway Unit in tracking and apprehending the suspect today," township officials said. "It was great teamwork and a successful job done with nobody hurt. Our officers truly care and work hard to keep our community safe and the criminals out."
