Post Office Representative Lays Out Plans for Horsham Relocation

The current plan is to sell the Horsham Post Office building on Enterprise Road and relocate to a smaller location on Horsham Road.

A representative with the U.S. Postal Service attended a Horsham Council meeting Wednesday to provide details on a plan to relocate the Horsham Post Office.

The Intelligencer reports that a representative from the U.S. Postal Service told a crowd of three dozen residents that the current plan involves selling the 40,000-square foot building on Enterprise Road for $3 million and renting a significantly smaller space on Horsham Road. That facility would provide retail services only, not bulk mail.

The 15-day comment period on the plan has been extended to 30 days. Residents can submit written comments to Richard Hancock, P.O. Box 27497, Greensboro, N.C. 27498-1103 or by email to richard.a.hancock2@usps.gov.
