HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Authorities said a power outage reported Wednesday in the township was restored.

Horsham Community Police Services said there was a power outage in the vicinity of Winchester Drive.

Horsham ChATs said the power outage impacted 78 households.

Crews were dispatched to affect repairs. PECO restored power not long after the report, Horsham ChATs said.

The power outage was the result of heavy rains from a thunderstorm overnight Tuesday.
