Prospectville Village Zoning Change Public Hearing Set

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Officials will hold a public hearing later this month to announce its vision for the township's Prospectville area.

The open house on the proposed Prospectville Village Zoning District will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 29, at the Horsham Township Community Center on 1025 Horsham Rd.

Township officials said they have discussed a concept for more than 15 years of a "vision to create a village character in the Prospectville area.

Officials said the concept has been included in the township’s 2011 and 2024 Comprehensive Plans.

"Our vision is to create nice restaurants and stores, safe pedestrian pathways, walkability, bike mobility, and transportation safety improvements," officials said.

A draft ordinance is complete and before this process begins its formal procedure, the township would like to seek the input of its residents.

Residents who can't attend can find all the information available at the Township Building, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for you to review, ask us questions and provide feedback.
