Registration Ramps Up At Horsham Soccer Association

Registration continues for Horsham Soccer Association’s 37th season. Register now at horshamsoccer.com.

With a week left in registration, HSA has already surpassed last year's Spring Soccer registration totals, welcoming many new families following a successful inaugural year. With spring and fall program offerings starting at age 4 for boys and girls, HSA is looking to make 2015 the best year yet. In fact, for 2015, there is no increase in registration fees.

Spring offers a fun and comfortable atmosphere for boys and girls -- ages Pre-K through 8th grade -- to play soccer, with games set for Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. No CO-ED teams. Fall program offerings range from U6 to U18, with Intramural, Select and Travel options. Again, No CO-ED teams.

Walk-Up Registrations can be completed this Saturday, March 28th during the township’s Easter Egg Hunt at Kohler Soccer Fields, 1055 Limekiln Pike, Ambler PA 19002. Note, inclement weather will force the Easter Egg Hunt -- as well as walk-up registrations -- to be moved inside to the Community Center. The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 11 am.

”Interest in the game of soccer has seemed to spike since the FIFA World Cup last summer, and our early registration numbers are a testament to that,” said club president Frank Nobile. “For example, we have more than 60 new families registered for our spring program.”

Spring also marks tryout time for those interested in the club’s Travel Program. Check out the Travel page on horshamsoccer.com for more details. NOTE: If your son or daughter is interested in playing TRAVEL SOCCER in the FALL, they must register before March 31st. Be sure to click the appropriate checkbox on the registration form, as tryouts are typically held in April.

A volunteer-based program, Horsham Soccer offers a comprehensive training program as well as dedicated lighted fields with youth participating in Spring and Fall Soccer offerings that include Intramural, Select and Travel, and of course, the Colleen Reilly Annual Invitational Soccer Tournament (set for Aug. 14 - Aug. 16).

Collectively, more than 1,300 youth were involved with Horsham Soccer in 2014. That number included over 20 Travel teams.
