'Rethinking Grading' Talk Set In Horsham
The event at Crooked Billet-Hallowell Learning Community is free and open to the public.
HORSHAM, PA — A talk about rethinking how student progress is measured is scheduled for next month in Horsham.
Matt Townsley, who has consulted with thousands of educators on the topic, will present "Rethinking Grading" at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, at Crooked Billet-Hallowell Learning Community.
The event is free and open to the public. The address is 501 West Moreland Ave. in Horsham.

Child care services will be available and a light meal will be served for all attendees.
Through conferences, professional development and workshops, Townsley has spoken on the topics of assessment and standards-based grading. In addition to currently serving as an assistant professor of educational leadership at the University of Northern Iowa, Townsley has worked as a high school math teacher and a school district administrator.
