Skimming Devices Also Found At Primark In Willow Grove Mall
If you have shopped at Primark recently, double-check your bank statements. Locations in both King of Prussia and Willow Grove were hit.

Primark announced this week that skimming devices had been found in their Willow Grove Mall location as well, just a week after the devices were reported at the King of Prussia Mall.
Skimming devices are placed on card payment machines and used by criminals to steal critical card data from customers. According to Primark, the devices were about the size of a deck of cards. They capture magnetic stripe data as cards as swiped.
Store management immediately removed the skimmers when they were discovered and alerted authorities. They said that they were working with police on the investigation.

The devices may have affected credit and debit card transactions dating back to July 29, 2016. Not all transactions were skimmed, but anyone who may have shopped at either the Willow Grove or King of Prussia locations should still check their bank statements.

"Primark recommends customers remain vigilant by regularly reviewing credit and debit card statements and immediately alerting their credit or debit card issuing bank of any suspicious charges. This is one the most important steps to detect and prevent unauthorized use of credit or debit card numbers," the company said in a statement.
