Sarah Roll, 81, of Horsham
A visitation and memorial service is set for this evening for Sarah Anne "Sally" Roll.

Sarah Anne "Sally" Roll of Horsham, formerly of Yardley, died on Aug. 10 at her residence. She was 81.
Roll, the daughter of the late Russell Kologiski and the late Ellen Brady Kologiski (nee - Walsh), was born Sept. 2, 1930 in Philadelphia.
She is the beloved wife of Louis C. Roll; loving mother of Deborah Pekula and her husband Michael, Laurie Larr and her husband the late Robert, and Sally Danowsky and her husband Joseph; grandmother of eight; great grandmother of two.
Born raised and educated in North Philadelphia, Roll attended Simon Gratz High School. She met her future husband through relatives in 1949 and the two were married a year later, in 1950. The Rolls raised their family in Northeast Philadelphia before moving to North Carolina for his job in 1974. Three years later, the family moved to Yardley.

Mrs. Roll enjoyed bird watching, cooking and gardening. After raising their children, the couple enjoyed traveling together. She was quoted as saying “All I ever wanted was to be a wife and mother,” She was very happily married for more than 61 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Aug. 14 after 6 p.m. and to her memorial service at 7 p.m. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road in Willow Grove
