'See Yourself In The Movies' Film To Be Shown In Hatboro

The film, a historic relic, was made in 1939 to promote the town's economy.

Hatboro’s Millbrook Society will be showing a film made in the winter of 1939-40 by the Hatboro Board of Trade, titled “See Yourself and Your Town in the Movies,” the society said.

This half an hour film was created as a publicity movie promoting Hatboro and its economy, businesses, schools, library, and other civic organizations.

The movie provides a unique look at a small American town on the eve of World War II, just months before its future was changed forever.
