Several Brush Fires Reported In Hatboro

HATBORO, PA —Brush fires are popping up in the Philadelphia region and the borough is certainly among the communities dealing with them.

Due to dry conditions, the Enterprise Fire Company responded to a few brush fires over the last few days.

On Tuesday, the fire company was dispatched on two straight calls to the railroad tracks for some railroad ties that were on fire.

The fire company said that with the assistance of the Hatboro Police Department, crews were able to extinguish the fire and soak the area down.

Fire officials are reminding residents that with the dry conditions, they should be careful with outdoor burning and discarding cigarettes.
