Six Hatboro-Horsham Students Named National Merit Finalists
The Hatboro-Horsham School District said the high school seniors represent less than 1 percent nationwide who receive the honor.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Hatboro-Horsham High School has announced that all six National Merit Semifinalists have advanced to Finalist standing.
School officials said that Justin Buonato, Audrey Kim, Jacob Schwartz, Ella Warden, Jonathan Weinstein, and Lillian Wu are all National Merit Finalists and will receive a Certificate of Merit.
All students scored the highest in the state on their Preliminary SAT/National Merit Semifinal Qualifying Test and represent less than one percent of high school seniors nationwide.

More than 15,000 students are selected as finalists and about 7,250 will earn a Merit
Scholarship award.
Beginning in March and continuing to mid-June, National Merit Scholarship Corp. selects National Merit Scholars from the finalist group based on their abilities, skills, and accomplishments.

“We are extremely proud of our National Merit Finalists, and hope NMSC is as impressed with
our students as we are when evaluating them in the next round,” said HHHS Principal Dennis
Williams.
