HORSHAM, PA — Have you been bitten or scratched by a skunk in Horsham anytime recently?

You're probably tired of answering that question, but if it's happened to you recently, authorities are urging you to contact the county. That's because a skunk tested positive for rabies on Wednesday, according to the Montgomery County Health Department.

Even if you were just exposed to the saliva of the skunk, you should still seek medical attention, and notify the county.

The rabid skunk was located on the 30 block of Forrester Road in the township.

If you or any of your pets have had any recent contact with skunks, contact the county's Division of Communicable Disease Control at 610-278-5117.
