Southbound Route 611 Section Closed Until Midnight: Officials

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —A section of Route 11 remains closed Thursday morning due to a water main break early Wednesday evening and is expected to remain that way until midnight, officials and authorities said.
Horsham ChATs said Thursday that southbound Route 611 (Easton Road) remains closed between Dresher Road and Horsham Road.

Southbound Easton Road is completely closed at Dresher while repairs are being made and heavy equipment is digging. It may not reopen until midnight, officials said.
The detour is Dresher Road to Horsham Road to Easton Road.

Horsham Community Police Services has not been given an estimated time on when Route 611 will reopen.
Please avoid the area as traffic is expected to be a mess. Be patient, leave extra time, and take a different route, Horsham Chats suggests.
The Hatboro-Horsham School District said there may be transportation delays due to the water main break.
The broken water main has just been repaired and that water service was restored, township officials reported after 11 a.m. Thursday.
Horsham Township residents may also be experiencing low water pressure and discolored water in the affected area.
There are service interruptions in a large area around Easton Road and Horsham Road, township officials said.
HWSA worked throughout the night and will be working throughout the day. They will be doing flushing in the area which may cause water discoloration, officials declared.
