State Flags Lowered in Honor of Turnpike Worker
William F. McGuigan, an equipment operator of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, was killed while performing his duties Sunday.
Governor Corbett today ordered all Pennsylvania flags at the Capitol Complex and Commonwealth facilities in Montgomery County lowered to half-staff in honor of a turnpike worker killed on the job Sunday.
William F. McGuigan, an equipment operator of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, was killed while performing his duties Sunday morning on the westbound Turnpike at mile marker post 314.
McGuigan, 61, of Ardsley, joined the Turnpike Commission in April 2005.
