State Rep. Cerrato's Horsham Office Gets Accolades

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —State Rep. Melissa Cerrato prides herself in the work that she and her staff do to help constituents in the 151st Legislative District.

Now the state has also acknowledged those efforts.

Cerrato said she recently received feedback from the state, which evaluates legislative offices on productivity each month.

"According to your office’s average of total casework entries for this legislative session, your office is ultra-high performing, at an average of 695 cases per month," Cerrato was told.

The office —located on Horsham Road near the intersection with Norristown Road —outperformed the caucus and regional legislative district averages with walk-in and email-sourced casework in January, the report stated.

"Despite the atypically low number of working days in November and December due to the holidays, your intake totals remained largely steady over the prior three months," the report said. "Your office continues to be one of the highest performing in the caucus."

Cerrato represents 64,000 constituents in Horsham Township, Ambler, Upper Dublin Township, and Montgomery Township. She recently wrapped up her first year as a politician.

"Thank you Rafia, Leza, Alex, Colin, and Nashdy for all of your hard work and dedication to the people of our community," Cerrato said in a shoutout to her staff.
