State Reps. Cerrato, Guenst Win In Eastern Montco: Unofficial Results
State Reps. Melissa Cerrato and Nancy Guenst were re-elected as state representatives, according to unofficial results.

HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —State Reps. Melissa Cerrato and Nancy Guenst were re-elected during Tuesday's general election, according to unofficial results.
In the 151st Legislative District, the Democratic incumbent Cerrato defeated Republican challenger Allen Arthur Anderson, getting 24,566 votes to Anderson's 15,489 votes.
In the 152nd Legislative District, the Democratic incumbent Guenst defeated Republican challenger Tim Bertram, getting 21,147 votes to Anderson's 13,486 votes.

"I would just like to tell my constituents a huge thank you for believing in me," Guenst told Patch Wednesday. "And I will always do my best that they have what they need."

Cerrato offered "a huge thank you" to everyone who worked or volunteered at the polls this week, with a big shout-out to the county voter services staff who have and continue to work so diligently to ensure a safe, secure, and smooth election process.
"Your dedication and hard work made this election possible. And a special thanks to everyone who participated in the democratic process by making their voices heard with their votes. Your engagement is what keeps our democracy strong," she said.
"I also wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for giving me the opportunity to serve you these past two years. It’s truly been an honor to represent such a wonderful community and to get to know so many of you personally," Cerrato said. "I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve you for another term. Your unwavering support and trust mean the world to me."
