HATBORO, PA — Renovations are now complete at the Steel Penny Cafe, and the business will now be open on Tuesday mornings again.

The business provided an update on Facebook that its delayed openings on Tuesday mornings are over and that the cafe will be open at 8 a.m. every Tuesday.

Owners said they've worked on a new dish room, bigger dishwasher, an expanded kitchen, a service bar, new ceilings, new walls, some new tables, and its new Penny Pick-Ups Window, to name a few.

The cafe also recently launched DoorDash to try to eliminate wait times for dine-in and help alleviate the parking issues a bit. DoorDash orders can be picked up at the new window in our parking lot (furthest from County Line Road).

The cafe said it will soon make the pick-up window available for all quick orders, not only for DoorDashers (if you’re not grabbing a coffee too, that is!)

"You’ll be able to just come to the back window, ring the doorbell, and we’ll grab your food," the cafe said. "Hopefully, this will help eliminate having to find parking and help parents with little ones a bit more too."

"We appreciate everyone who has stood by us and cheered us on along the way, as we try to make everything more streamlined for our guests," the cafe said. "We know it’s not perfect, but we are constantly trying to make things better with the space that we have. We will eventually work out all the kinks and hopefully be better than ever."
