WARMINSTER, PA —The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will perform stormwater improvements and pothole repairs this week in the township.

PennDOT said that maintenance and contractor crews will be repairing deteriorated pavement on more than 40 state highways this week across the Philadelphia region.

The work locations include Bristol Road and Mearns Road in Warminster.

Meanwhile, PennDOT said the work falls under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather-dependent.

Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this stormwater improvement project, which is financed with 100% state funds.
