'Strong-Armed' Robber Steals Food From Hatboro Teenager: Police
Hatboro Police said the robber knocked down the victim on North York Road Thursday night. A video shows the suspect fleeing on a bicycle.

HATBORO, PA —Police are investigating a "strong-armed robbery" that happened Thursday night.
Hatboro Police Chief James Gardner said a 15-year-old Hatboro boy was walking south on North York Road near East Monument Avenue around 9:45 p.m. Thursday when an individual approached him from behind on a bicycle and stole a bag of food he was carrying while forcing the victim to the ground.
The victim was not injured.

The suspect was described as a man wearing a grey-colored hooded jacket or sweatshirt, black pants, and was wearing a dark-colored backpack.
The suspect fled on the bicycle, and was last observed heading south on North York Road, and then west onto West Montgomery Avenue.

Police released a video believed to be the suspect fleeing the scene.
