Students at Chesterbrook Academy® Preschool in Horsham Donate More Than 80 Winter Clothing Items to Local Children in Need

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Horsham recently donated more than 80 winter clothing items to Cradles to Crayons, which provides children living in homeless or low-income situations with the essential items they need to thrive. For two weeks, students held a donation drive and collected 30 hats, 50 gloves and dozens of scarves. At the end of the collection, students organized the donations and prepared them for delivery to the nonprofit.

Last month, students also held gift card drives to raise money for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a research hospital that continues to pioneer treatments for rare conditions, develop groundbreaking cures for devastating diseases and provide much-needed services to the under-resourced families in their community. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of helping others.
