Suspicious Person Spotted Pulling On Car Doors In Horsham Township

Horsham Township police warn residents to protect their vehicles. The police department has reported a rash of vehicle crimes this month.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —A suspicious person was spotted early Wednesday morning lurking around some township neighborhoods and police want to find out the identity.

The Horsham Township Police Department said that officers responded to a report at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday of a suspect or suspects walking through the yards and pulling on car doors at homes on Tamarack Circle and Meetinghouse Road.

Officers checked the area and were unable to locate anyone, police said.

Police said area residents provided surveillance images of the subject(s).

The report comes days after police reported a recent vehicle theft, a vehicle break-in, and three thefts from vehicles so far this month.

Police issued a warning to residents and offered tips and suggestions on how to protect their vehicles. Police also alluded to the fact that the incidents could be part of a Tik-Tok challenge.

Residents are reminded to keep their vehicles locked and do not leave valuables in them.
