Neighbors On 3 Hatboro-Area Streets Asked To Check Cameras For Thieves: Police

A number of residents said credit cards, cash, and other personal items were taken from their unlocked cars early Friday morning.

HATBORO, PA — Police are hoping neighbors with security cameras can help solve a series of car thefts near Hatboro.

A number of residents reported thefts from their unlocked vehicles early Friday, Upper Moreland Township police said. The thief, or thieves, stole "credit cards, cash, and other personal items," the police department said.

The thefts centered around Meyer Lane, Round Meadow Lane, and Jarrett Lane, according to police. Any area residents who have security cameras or Ring doorbells are asked to check their video feeds for any suspicious activity between midnight and 3 a.m. Friday, police said.

Police ask anyone with video of suspicious activity to contact Officer Amanda Rossetti at arossetti@uppermoreland.org, or call 215-657-4700 to reach the police station. Residents can also submit an anonymous tip on the police department website and click on "submit a tip" in the top right hand corner.

Police ask those who were victims of a similar theft to call 911 and have an officer take a report.
