A Child Had To Be Airlifted To Children's Hospital Monday After A Horsham Vehicle Crash

The vehicle accident took place early Monday afternoon along the 1100 block of Easton Road in Horsham Township.

HORSHAM, PA — A young toddler had to be taken by medical helicopter to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Monday after suffering injuries in an early-afternoon vehicle accident in the township, according to police officials and news reports.

The accident took place along the 100 block of Easton Road just before 1 p.m. Monday.

Police officials say that the accident is currently under investigation and that they would have no further information to share at this time.

Two patients were transported to area hospitals by medical helicopter, police stated.

"We have no further details on their condition," police officials posted to Facebook.

There was video posted of the crash scene by television station 6 ABC, which stated that the child was taken by air to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Police did not reveal the age of the child, but Montgomery County emergency alerts stated that the victim was 3 years old.
