Tonelli's Transforming Into Animal Hospital
The pizza pub closed after 30 years in Horsham. An animal hospital will fill the space

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The cat is out of the bag.
While Tonelli's Pizza Pub has closed in Horsham after 30 years, its property on Easton Road will be put to good use down the road, its former owner said in a Facebook post.
Tonelli's said that in the next six months, Hatboro and Horsham will have a brand new state-of-the-art animal hospital at the Route 611 property.

"This is near and dear to my heart because, in addition to the seven kids I have in the school district, I have a Great Dane, a Pit Bull mix, and a crazy cat," Tonelli's Owner Chip Randa said.
Randa said the animal hospital will feature Dr. Tobi Maser Koko, who is "a world-class veterinarian and a spectacular person."

Koko operates the Family Pet Clinic in Southampton and Feasterville.
Tonelli's closed earlier this month due to Randa's retirement.
Tonelli’s opened in Horsham in 1993.
Its mission was to sell the best pizza, wings, cheesesteaks, and hoagies "in the universe," Randa told Patch last year during the 30-year anniversary celebration.
Randa also announced that Tonelli's was selling its liquor license for $425,000.
Randa said the license is cleaned and that it can be transferred to anywhere in Montgomery County, though he said he'd like to keep it in Horsham.
