Traffic Signal Operational Again In Horsham Township

Horsham officials said a traffic signal was knocked out overnight due to an accident. Some service was restored Tuesday.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —A traffic signal that has been knocked out of commission following an accident overnight is now operational, officials said.

Horsham Township officials said, though, that the traffic signal at the intersection of Limekiln Pike and Chestnut Lane is not running normally and won’t be until the new permanent control box gets delivered and installed.

The traffic signal control box was hit by a vehicle overnight and the signal is completely out, officials said.

The signal was out Tuesday morning while a temporary control box was set up.

The intersection was a four-way stop with temporary stop signs in place, officials said.

Horsham ChATs said that motorists should expect delays, be patient, and consider a different route for the next day or two.
