Ukraine Folk Festival In Horsham Raises Money For War Effort
The annual festival celebrating Ukraine's independence takes place Sunday at the Ukrainian American Sport Center in Horsham Township.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —While the war continues at home, Ukraine’s independence will be celebrated here in the township with The Ukrainian Folk Festival on Sunday.
The festival showcases Ukraine’s independence with traditional performances, art, and food while also raising money for the war effort.
The Ukrainian Folk Festival 2023 —which celebrates the 32nd year of Ukraine's freedom —will be held at the Ukrainian American Sport Center — Tryzub on County Line and Lower State roads from Noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Organizers say a portion of every ticket sold is being donated to Humanitarian Relief of Victims of War in Ukraine. Last year, more than $10,000 was raised for Humanitarian Relief for the victims of the war with Russia.
Some of the festivities include an outdoor summer stage concert and show from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., live orchestra music (5-8 p.m.), traditional Ukrainian foods and baked goods, a BBQ pit, standard picnic fare, vendors’ grove, Ukrainian arts and crafts displays and bazaar, cool refreshments, Living Exhibitors of Ukrainian History and Ukrainian hospitality.

The EFSANE Crimean Tatar Ensemble will offer a special guest appearance and Ukrainian singer and songwriter Iryna Lonchyna will perform.
The artists (dance troupes, musicians, singers, and ensembles that have performed previously) have created a dynamic and integrated collaborative program that will excite the senses.
There will also be a Banner of Jasna Gora (living exhibitors of Ukrainian history) and live orchestra-band music by the Vox Ethnika Band after the stage concert and show:
Admission is open to the public at the gate only.
The cost is $15 with $2 donated to the Humanitarian Relief of Victims of War in Ukraine). Kids age 15 and under are free. There's also free parking.

Horsham ChATs warned motorists that traffic should be heavier Sunday on Lower State Road between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday with gridlock traffic near the club entrance probable. Residents are asked to plan their travel accordingly.
